Brookside Inn, a privately owned, is seeking a compassionate and conscientious Director of Nursing, Registered Nurse to join our team of qualified individuals. We are looking for a professional who is committed to the highest standards of integrity, quality care, and respect for our residents. 

Rate of Pay

  • $100,000-110,000 annually- Salary exempt status position.

How to Apply

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for administration of nursing services
  • Directs, plans, and coordinates service activities of professional nursing and ancillary nursing personnel
  • Interprets policy and regulations to all nursing personnel and ensures compliance
  • Analyzes and evaluates nursing and related services to ensure quality of care
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
  • Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene, safety, and infection control (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
  • Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
  • Attends and participates in facility and organization committee meetings
  • Monitors, reports, and responds to incidents and accidents as appropriate.
  • Assist with the development of the annual nursing budget and monitors expenses throughout the year.
  • Ensures availability of adequate and appropriate supplies and equipment
  • Complete other duties as assigned

  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and infection control guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
