Are you looking to break into the healthcare industry? Or do you know someone seeking a fresh start in life or a second career? The Nurse Aide Training Program offered through Brookside Inn Skilled Nursing Facility (BSI) teaches the art and passion of becoming a nurse aide and might be just your ticket! The next class sessions run March 16-27 and April 12-24, with more sessions to be scheduled in May and throughout the summer. Scholarships are available.

ABOUT BROOKSIDE’S CNA SCHOOL: This program offers three weeks of classroom instruction and clincals, in which students will shadow an instructor at the award-winning BSI facility located in downtown Castle Rock. Upon completion of the classroom instruction and shadowing, students will be eligible to take Colorado’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure exam.

WHAT IS A CNA? A CNA is a licensed, healthcare professional who assists patients with basic living activities such as dressing, bathing and taking vitals.

FURTHER DETAILS:

• The next class sessions run March 16-27 and April 12-24, with more sessions to be scheduled in May and throughout the summer

• Students must be at least 16 years of age and proficient in English.

• Program Tuition: $600. The BSI program is nearly a third of the cost of similar programs throughout the region, which all fill up very quickly. Scholarships to the BSI program are available.
